Marathon Media Adds Casemiro as Chief Creative Officer, Kids

Casemiro's credits include Nickelodeon's hit franchise "Rugrats"

Marathon Media has tapped Eryk Casemiro as chief creative officer of its tyke division. Casemiro will report to Vincent Chalvon-Demersay and David Michel, CEO and managing director of Marathon Media. He will be based in Paris.

In his new post, Casemiro will be tasked with managing the creative aspects of all current kids productions and lead the team of executive producers at the French toon studio. He will also oversee development and production of new kid and family-friendly content across all media platforms.

Casemiro, a “Rugrats” alum and Emmy winner, spent seven years at Klasky Csupo as senior veep of creative affairs. Along with “Rugrats,” Casemiro had a hand in other popular Nickelodeon skeins including “The Wild Thornberrys,” “Rocket Power” and “As Told By Ginger.”

“We are extremely excited to have Eryk on board,” said Chalvon-Demersay and Michel. “His arrival is a logical move for Marathon Media as we are expanding our activities in LA with the recent greenlight of our first co-production with Nickelodeon U.S., Nickelodeon Internation, Gulli and Game One, ‘Get Blake.'”
