Rashida Jones and Will McCormack have signed a TV pod deal with Warner Bros.
In their first ever pact with a studio, the pair will develop, write and produce comedy and drama projects for both cable and broadcast. Jones, who appears on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” wrote and co-starred in last year’s indie pic “Celeste and Jesse Forever.” McCormack was also a co-writer on the film. Both are writing the Universal pic “Frenemy of the State,” which is based on Jones’ comic book series about a socialite recruited by the CIA. Both are repped by UTA.Jones, McCormack sign pod deal with WBTV
