Jimmy Kimmel Laughs Off Kanye West’s Twitter Attack

Jimmy Kimmel didn’t need his writers to hammer out a monologue for him on last night’s show — Kanye West did all the work for them.

The ABC late night host read a series of tweets Kanye directed Kimmel’s way after the rapper was enraged by a bit on Kimmel’s show on Tuesday night, which mocked an interview Kanye gave to BBC1 (see below).

Kimmel read several of the tweets Kanye banged out in anger and laughed off each one, even throwing in a veiled dig at Kim Kardashian.

At one point Kimmel laughed, “Finally, I am in a rap feud.”

It’s unfortunate Kanye has to be as emotional as he is, but such is the case with most people as talented as he is(plenty of non-rap artists are/have been very emotional, egotistical, and have done plenty of crummy things), being a major player in hip-hop and pop music for the past ten years has had a profound effect on him. Though judging from the interview he still isn’t budging from his beliefs and is far from selling out. I guess it is a gift and a curse that he is as emotional and egotistical as before he was famous.

Why does anyone even care what Kanye thinks. The guy is a complete lunatic who makes really crappy music. His girlfriend got famous by giving rappers h***. With the goatee he just looks like an idiot. Where does this guy get the nerve to call himself a God, the number 1 rock star on the planet and the voice of a generation LOL. Somebody has to remind this guy that Michael Jackson had more talent in his baby finger than Kanye has in his whole body.

Wouldn’t it be great if KW shut up and got a real life?

  5. phoenix says:

I think Kanye is upset about the way Jimmy Kimmel tried to trivialize the statements made in the video. The content in question was related to him describing racism within the fashion community. “Who wears leather jogging pant?”…The same people that can afford Gucci’s $3850 and Versace’s $3300 a pair.

There has to be a law in the entertainment business: Anyone with an ego is shot and killed.

That’s it. Ever since hip-hop music emerged (from any race), it’s gotten worse. I use to hear phone calls from hip-hop/rappers who demanded their money from record execs like Suge Knight in the form of a death threat. No joke! True story.

The entertainment business has to get rid of these hyped trouble makers.

    • charles wells says:

Poor Kanye is just a stereotypical, uneducated, ghetto rat who got lucky. All the money and Louis Vuitton gym shoes in the world can NEVER change that. He has all the eloquence of a Duck Dynasty cast member.

      • Devin says:

He’s actually an upper-middle class kid who was educated well. His mother was an English professor. He never was a “ghetto rat” and isn’t one now. You might want to make sure your comments are based on more than racist assumptions next time.
