GMC TV is adding telepic “Finding Normal” to its original programming slate, with “Full House’s” Candace Cameron Bure set to star.
Bure will play Dr. Lisa Leland, a surgeon who plans to leave Los Angeles to move to the Hamptons where her boyfriend lives. However, her plans are thrown off course after an unexpected encounter in a small North Carolina town. Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman penned the “Finding Normal” script. Brian Herzlinger will direct the Pure Flix Entertainment-produced film, which fits with GMC TV’s lineup of positive, uplifting fare. “Finding Normal” will bow on GMC TV in May.
