FremantleMedia Taps Christine Shaw Communications Post

FremantleMedia North America has named Christine Shaw senior veep of communications and marketing.

Previously communications VP at BBC Worldwide, Shaw will oversee all corporate public relations, marketing and publicity for FMNA, reporting to COO Lee Rierson, involved with such projects as  “American Idol,” “The X Factor,” “America’s Got Talent,” “The Price is Right,” “Let’s Make a Deal” and “Family Feud.”

“Her expertise will help us to build and enhance FremantleMedia’s consumer and industry outreach strategies,” Rierson said, “with a focus on our dynamic and entertaining television content and our new initiatives in digital media and related businesses.”

Said Shaw: “I am excited to be joining Lee, as well as CEO Thom Beers, and the tremendous team at FMNA. I am energized by the vast portfolio of innovative content the team has in place.  I look forward to coming on board at a time of focused expansion and working to build upon the FMNA brand name and its various properties.”
