Fox orders two more comedy pilots

Kevin Biegel, Michelle Morgan behind single-camera laffers

Fox has ordered a pair of single-camera comedy pilots, one from “Cougar Town” vet Kevin Biegel and the other from Michelle Morgan. Both are from 20th Century Fox TV.

Enlisted” is based on exec producer Biegel’s relationship with his siblings and follows three very different brothers working together in the Army at a small base in Florida.

Mike Royce, currently showrunner on 20th TV’s NBC laffer “1600 Penn,” will work on the pilot script with Biegel.

“2 Wrongs,” exec produced by Morgan, Peter Chernin, Katherine Pope, Aaron Kaplan and Sean Perrone, revolves around a woman left by her boyfriend at the altar seven years ago.

Earlier this week Fox, ordered four other comedy pilots, including single-cams “Friends & Family” (based on the BBC series “Gavin & Stacey”), “House Rules” and an untitled coming-of-age project from Justin Halpern and Patrick Schumacker. The fourth, “To My Assistant,” is a multicam project.
