Prince Michael Jackson, the 16-year-old son of Michael Jackson, has been tapped as a correspondent for “Entertainment Tonight.”

The syndie newsmag announced the hiring Monday, shortly before Jackson made his debut on the show with an interview of “Oz the Great and Powerful” stars James Franco and Zach Braff and helmer Sam Raimi.

According to “ET,” Jackson is hoping to establish a showbiz career.

“I’m looking to become well-rounded as a producer, director, screenwriter and actor,” he told “ET” correspondent Brooke Anderson. He also recalled watching “The Lord of the Rings” and other Peter Jackson movies with his father, who died in 2009.
