‘Episodes’ Lands Early Season 4 Renewal From Showtime

Third season of offbeat comedy starring Matt LeBlanc bows Jan. 12

Episodes” is living up to its name. Showtime has greenlit production on a fourth season of the quirky comedy even though its third season doesn’t unspool until Jan. 12.

Series revolves around the Hollywood struggles of a British couple, played by Stephen Mangan and Tamsin Greig, whose TV series is remade for the U.S. market, much to their creative dismay. Matt LeBlanc plays the star of the Yank rendition.

Guest stars lined up for season three include Chris Diamantopoulos, Roger Bart and Tracy Spiridakos.

Showtime has ordered nine episodes for season four.

“Episodes” was created by Jeffrey Klarik and David Crane. The pair exec produce with Jimmy Mullville of Hat Trick Prods.

  1. This is great news as it is a wonderful show, I just wish the seasons were a bit longer. Still, quality matters more than quantity though it does leave one hungry for more and despairing of the long wait in between.

    Can’t wait! This is one of the only comedy’s Showtime offers that’s actually funny. Best thing Matt Leblanc has done and the rest of the cast is spot on. Nice to see it finally getting some validation.
