Lionsgate and WB alum Eric Shiu has joined EOne Television as VP of marketing and communications.
Shiu will oversee marketing campaigns for the unit behind such show as Syfy’s “Haven,” AMC’s “Hell on Wheels” and the upcoming Discovery Channel miniseries “Klondike.” He’ll also spearhead international communications strategy for the division.
He reports to Peter Emerson, prexy of eOne Television International.
“Eric’s studio marketing experience, digital prowess, and track record of success will support the company’s ever-growing international television operations,” Emerson said.
Shiu previously worked on the FearNet VOD channel for Lionsgate, and also worked as a marketing exec at Warner Bros. and FX Networks.
