'Love You, Mean It' never gained ratings traction

E! has canned Whitney Cummings’ young weekly talkshow “Love You, Mean It.”

A source at the cabler tells Variety that production has completed on the talkshow, and that the last episode aired on Feb. 6.

Yakker debuted late last year with a six-episode order. In January, E! continued to invest in the skein, ordering an additional six episodes. This month, however, E! decided to not move forward with the talkshow, quietly ending its run.

“Love You, Mean It,” produced by Chelsea Handler’s shingle Borderline Amazing Prods., debuted in late November

to just under half a million viewers in its Wednesday 10:30 p.m. timeslot. It never really gained much traction, at times barely cracking 300,000 total viewers for its premiere telecast.

Cummings’ comedy “Whitney” on NBC is currently in its second season.
