Telecast drew a 9.6 million total viewers

A&E’s “Duck Dynasty” continues to break ratings records.

The season three finale of the redneck reality program drew a whopping 9.6 million viewers on Wednesday night in its hourlong broadcast, making it A&E’s most-watched series telecast in the net’s history across all key demos.

Episode also pulled a record 5.6 million adults 25-54, and 5.5 million adults 18-49.

Third season of “Duck Dynasty” averaged 8.4 million total viewers, up 95% compared to season two. It is cable’s top reality program this year, and the No. 2 original series overall, behind only AMC juggernaut “The Walking Dead.”

“Duck Dynasty’s” fourth season will begin lensing soon. A&E plans to debut season four later this year.
