Dish Network Programming Chief Gains Turf

David Shull to add oversight of marketing and advertising sales

Satcaster Dish Network has expanded the purview of two senior execs, including programming chief David Shull.

Shull has been promoted to executive vice president and chief commercial officer.  He will add oversight of production management, marketing and advertising sales, in addition to steering Dish’s programming and content acquisition group.
Executive vice president and chief operating officer Bernie Han will oversee all sales and distribution, in addition to his current responsibilities of managing operations, information technologies, customer service, customer retention and corporate initiatives.
Shull and Han will continue reporting to Dish prexy-CEO Joseph P. Clayton.
“We are in a brand and cultural transformation at Dish and these two leaders understand we must deliver the best possible customer experience with a motivated and engaged workforce,” said Clayton.
