Former g.m. Amy Winter to remain with TLC's marketing team
Daniels will be based in TLC’s Los Angeles office and report to Eileen O’Neill, group president of Discovery and TLC Networks.
Daniels steps into the general manager role after serving as exec vice prez of production and development at TLC’s sister net Discovery Channel. At TLC, Daniels will oversee programming, production, development, new media and marketing for the femme-skewing cabler.

Daniels’ new role at TLC marks a reunion with the net. Before her work as a development exec at Discovery, Daniels was senior vice president of production and development at TLC, overseeing the launch of series including “Cake Boss,” “The Little Couple” and “Sister Wives.” She has been with Discovery Communications since 2007.
