‘Dexter’ Props Auction Raising Money for Charity

'Dexter' Props Auction Raising Money Charity

An auction for only the most obsessive “Dexter” fans has launched online with the proceeds going to charity.

“Dexter” fan site Dexter Corner has teamed with Hollywood Props for what they are calling “the biggest online prop auction in history.” A portion of the proceeds from the auction will go toward the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

As for the actual items up for auction … the pickings are rather bland. Sure, there is a prop knife, but it comes with the disclaimer, “We are unsure if Dexter used this or if it was used elsewhere although the prop knife was production-used and is similar to the prop knives we have seen him use on-screen.”

Beyond that, there are lots of signs and boxes and pictures with only a tangential connection to the show. Heck, one item — toys that belonged to Dexter’s son Harrison — is probably better suited for donation box than an auction.

But if you absolutely need a framed photo of Dexter’s stepdaughter Astor, check out DexterAuction.com.
