Anne Marie McGintee and Chris Markey

Janollari's Universal TV shingle was established earlier this year

David Janollari’s banner at Universal TV has added Anne-Marie McGintee and Chris Markey as vice presidents of development.

Janollari ran programming at MTV before setting up his production company at Universal TV, so the hiring of McGintee, MTV’s former director of scripted series development, marks a reunion for the two execs. While at MTV, McGintee handled development and production on series including “Awkward and “Teen Wolf.”

Markey recently served as manager of drama development and current programming at Chernin Entertainment, working on skeins such as “Touch” and “Terra Nova.”

“Anne Marie and Chris are two of the most creative and passionate young executives I have encountered in a long time in this business. They both have exquisite taste, incredible relationships with the agent and writer communities, and an inspirational and enthusiastic quality,” said Janollari.

Janollari, whose producing credits include “Six Feet Under” and “American Family,” inked a three-year development pact in May with the Peacock’s Universal TV that calls for him to develop scripted fare.
