Comedy Central Renews ‘Jeselnik Offensive,’ ‘Nathan for You’

The Jeselnik Offensive

Comedy Central has given frosh programs “The Jeselnik Offensive” and “Nathan for You” second seasons.

“Jeselnik Offensive” features Jeselnik’s comedic, sardonic spin on must-see headlines. Show is exec produced by Jeselnik, head writer Tom Johnson, Krysia Plonka and Mosaic’s Christie Smith. Comedy Central plans to lens ten new episodes in July.

Comedic docuseries “Nathan for You” follows Nathan Fielder as he uses his real-life biz degree and experience to help struggling companies with strategies that no traditional biz consultant would dare to attempt. Comedy Central will debut ten new episodes next year. “Nathan for You” is exec produced by Fielder, Michael Koman and Dave Kneebone.

Both deserved second seasons. I feel both should stay around for good. Jeselnik is hands down one of the best comedians in the business. Offensive or not, he can write a joke! “Nathan For You” is something original, and Fielder has such a hilarious, dry sense of humor. Yes, not many get that a lot of what he’s doing is “comedy”, but for the people who understand, it’s such a funny show to watch. Comedy Central has a lot of down-time, where there aren’t any new episodes of their popular shows, and both of these shows are good to fill into those slots! BTW, anybody know if or how you can submit ideas to “Nathan For You”?

    Anthony Jeselnik sucks.
