Comedy Central has parted ways with “The Jeselnik Offensive,” comic Anthony Jeselnik’s late-night repository for his special brand of deadpan shock humor.

Jeselnik announced the news Saturday while performing at the New York Comedy Festival.

The comic has a reputation for unapologetic zingers and, at least a public persona of, inflated ego and confidence. He told Variety in 2008 that “if I apologize, the whole thing falls apart. It gives people a reason not to like me.”

“The Jeselnik Offensive” ran for two seasons.
