Script deal for possible half-hour skein

Comedy Central has agreed to several projects involving comedian Dan St. Germain, according to the Viacom network.

The cabler has a script deal with St. Germain for a project with the working title “Hell Hole.” The premise of the potential series is centered on three best friends working at Yellowstone National Park. A person familiar with the project bills the half-hour skein as “a 21st century version of ‘Cheers.’”

St. Germain will write and executive produce. Rich Korson will also write and executive produce. Olivia Wingate will produce.

Comedy Central has also agreed to a digital series which St. Germain will write and executive produce. “In Security” is a CC Studios animated production revolving around “Richie,” an alcoholic miscreant, voiced by St. Germain, who heads up the dysfunctional overnight security team at a New York museum. St. Germain and Dan Powell executive produce.

St. Germain and Sean Donnelly are working with Sirius XM’s Comedy Central Radio on an original radio series based on their popular “My Dumb Friends” podcast.

Comedy Central is slated to broadcast a half-hour comedy special featuring St. Germain May 17 at midnight.

St. Germain is repped by UTA.
