Drake Bell, Adrian Pasdar, Peter Stormare, Danny Trejo and Chi McBride among voices behind Marvel's superheroes in the special
In the episode, Phineas and Ferb do everything they can to help Spider-Man, Iron Man, Thor and the Hulk and fend off super villains Red Skull, Whiplash, Venom and M.O.D.O.K. from taking over the world, when they find themselves powerless after being struck by Dr. Doofenshmirtz’s power-draining “inator.”
Tapped to voice the Marvel characters are: Drake Bell (Spider-Man); Adrian Pasdar (Iron Man); Travis Willingham (Thor); Fred Tatasciore (Hulk); Liam O’Brien (Red Skull); Charlie Adler (M.O.D.O.K.); Peter Stormare (Whiplash); Danny Trejo (Venom) and Chi McBride (Nick Fury). Stan Lee also guest stars as himself.
“Phineas and Ferb” creators and executive producers Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh worked closely with Marvel’s creative team to ensure the Marvel characters fit seamlessly into the Danville world of the Emmy Award-winning series.
The TV special will actually be available earlier on Aug. 12, on Disney Channel SVOD and to verified WATCH Disney Channel users. It will be available for purchase on iTunes, Amazon Instant Video Store and Microsoft Xbox. Special bows Aug. 25 on Disney XD and will be hosted by Dr. Doofenshmirtz via “Doof’s Daily Dirt.”

Separately, DisneyChannel.com has launched a “Mission Marvel” game on its website, that also features videos and a chance to create a “Phineas and Ferb: Mission Marvel” photo mashup.
Marvel paired up with “Phineas and Ferb” since the show has been the No. 1 animated TV series over the past five years among tweens 9-14 and the top animated TV series in primetime with for five consecutive years with kids 6-11.
