Anne Heche has signed a multi-year first-look producing deal with Universal TV.

Pact includes an acting component, allowing Heche to not only produce but also star in projects from the studio that are brought to NBC or outside nets.

“Anne has proven, time and again, to be both a wonderfully gifted actor and a hard-working producer with fantastic taste. We’re looking forward to working together on all fronts,” said Jennifer Salke, prez of NBC Entertainment.

First-look deal arrives on the heels of Heche’s NBC summer skein “Save Me” wrapping its first run. Program, which failed to secure strong ratings, is likely not returning to the Peacock’s lineup.

Coming up, Heche is slated to guest star on NBC’s fall comedy “The Michael J. Fox Show,” and has other projects in the works under Universal TV.

Heche is repped by UTA and managed by Untitled Entertainment.
