ABC Orders More Scripts for ‘Super Fun Night,’ ‘Back in the Game’

Super Fun Night Review

Alphabet offers some encouragement to frosh Wednesday comedies

ABC has ordered two more scripts apiece for Wednesday frosh comedies “Super Fun Night” and “Back in the Game.”

The script orders amount to a small vote of confidence for two shows in their infancy.

“Super Fun Night,” the Rebel Wilson starred from Warner Bos. TV, has done a middling job of holding on to its “Modern Family” lead-in at 9:30 p.m. “Back in the Game,” from 20th Century Fox TV, has had a little more traction in the 8:30 p.m. berth behind “The Middle.”

ABC has yet to give full-season orders to any new shows other than buzzy drama “Marvel’s Agents of Shield.”

Super Fun Night should go. I like Back In the game so I hope it won’t be cancelled

  2. mary says:

hard to believe they extend this show……..yuk…and yet……have not extended Betrayal that I have seen.

what is it about these dense comedies that appeals to a certain audience..when a show like Betrayal
has a great cast and story……? and should be getting better ratings for sure. those comedies don’t take a lot of thinking. lol

  3. This show is aweful!!! There is know way it will last another season. Don’t waste your time…
