ABC Family has picked up two reality series, “Dancing Fools” and “The Vineyard,” slating the pair for summer.
“Fools,” hosted by Melissa Peterman (ABC Family’s “Baby Daddy”), is a half-hour unscripted comedy created by Phil Gurin. Gurin Company will produce the series. Docusoap “The Vineyard” follows 20-somethings living in Massachusetts-based Martha’s Vineyard for the summer. Skein is created and exec produced by Dave Broome and Brian Smith. 25/7 Prods. is producing “Vineyard.” Unscripted programs join scripted shows “The Fosters” (from Jennifer Lopez) and “Twisted” (from Gavin Polone) in ABC Family’s summer lineup.ABC Family picks up ‘Fools,’ ‘Vineyard’
