20th Century Fox Television has upped Mark Ambrose to vice president of drama development, it was announced today. He will report to drama development senior v.p. Michael Thorn.
Ambrose most recently served as director of drama development at the studio, working on broadcast series including “Crisis” for NBC and “Gang Related” for Fox. Ambrose has been with 20th Century Fox for almost a decade.
“Mark is a dedicated and smart executive who has built terrific relationships with producers and talent alike,” said Thorn. “He is incredibly deft at assessing the landscape and his creative instincts are second to none.”
The studio also announced that it has promoted Shari Rosenblum to veep of publicity. Rosenblum will report to Chris Alexander, senior veep of corporate communications. The flack’s publicity credits in the TV space include “Homeland,” “Modern Family” and both iterations of “Arrested Development.” She has been with 20th Century Fox since 2000.
