  1. Jay says:

When on Earth is “The Newsroom’s” season 1 DVD set coming out?

  2. Mr. Atheist says:

Sorkin is finally back? Don’t get me wrong. I like Sorkin. He has a way with characters. I feel like rewatching “A Few Good Men” just to see that in action. I wasn’t that big of a fan of The Facebook Movie, but then I’m used to being in the minority on things (and demographics).

Sorkin’s newest show has been cast perfectly. The actors play off of each other in a cool 40s meets Mamet style for the “Lifetime”-set. Brilliant.

I just wish that Sorkin would be a little more, what’s the word, less eco-friendly. He tends to not only recycle lines of dialog and character names but plot points and twists from most of his previous incarnations.

I look forward to another great season from Team Sorkin. Hopefully with some fresh takes on previously viewed materials.
