At the April 22 preem of Millennium Entertainment’s “The Iceman,” Michael Shannon admitted that he had to make himself feel some warmth toward the title character, contract killer Richard Kuklinski.

Shannon believes Kuklinski was full of rage due to his upbringing. “This film is a reminder to be nice to your kids,” the thesp added.

Director Ariel Vromen intro’d the film and concluded his thanks with a shout out to Millennium’s Avi Lerner. “Thanks for taking a risk on films that no one else would,” he said.
