Lippin Group Topper Donates $150K Penn

Coin to fund programs to promote ethical and moral behavior in young children

Lippin Group chief Dick Lippin has made a $150,000 donation to his alma mater, Penn State University, to aid the study of moral and ethical behavior in young children.

The coin from the Lippin Family Fund will support the development of programs designed for kids in the age range of 3-7 at Penn State’s College of the Liberal Arts. The work will be conducted through a partnership of the university’s Rock Ethics Institute and Child Study Center.

The goal is “to help parents, child care providers and teachers reinforce ethical lessons with their children,” Lippin said in announcing the gift.

Lippin, head of the Lippin Group communications firm, graduated from Penn State with a degree in psychology.
