Dick Lippin Be Honored Penn State

The Lippin Group founder Dick Lippin will be honored with Penn State’s 2013 Service to Society Award.

Honor, given to Liberal Arts alums who have contributed to society on a humanistic level, will be presented at a ceremony tomorrow at the university’s College of Liberal Arts.

Lippin founded praisery The Lippin Group in 1986, but beyond his professional ventures, has also established numerous cancer programs including the Ronnie Lippin Cancer Information and Resource Line after his wife, Ronnie, passed from a rare form of breast cancer seven years ago. Information and Resource Line provides counseling services to individuals and families dealing with cancer-related matters.

Other programs established by Lippin include The Ronnie Lippin Cancer Research Fellowships, The Ronnie Lippin Cancer Outreach Program at Tower Cancer Research Foundation, and The Ronnie Lippin Counseling Centers.
