Net boosts programming department with hire of two execs
A&E has boosted its programming department with the hire of two new execs.
Gabriel Marano has been named drama programming veep, based in Century City and reporting to senior drama programming veep Tana Nugent Jamieson. And in New York, Dave Mace has joined the fold as nonfiction and alternative programming veep, reporting to senior nonfiction and alternative programming veep Elaine Frontain Bryant.
Marano most recently served as scripted programming VP at Fox Television Studios, where he oversaw such cable series as “The Americans,” “The Killing” and “Burn Notice.” Mace arrives from MTV Networks, where he served as senior veep of the VH1 Creative Lab development thinktank.
