GBK’S LOUNGE FOR OSCAR NOMINEES AND PRESENTERS

Where: Sofitel Hotel
Posh perks: As GBK prexy Gavin Keilly estimates, “the total value of the gift bag is about $30,000.” That includes “a Magellan Jets $3,000 gift card for a private jet trip,” as well as “first-class stays at any one of the five-star resorts in Puerto Vallarta,” courtesy of that Mexican city’s tourism board. As a perennial player in the swag suite business, Keilly lures stars with a combination of things. “Our goal is always to find ways to make it different. Whether it be changing the products that are participating in our gift lounge or making the event new and exciting each time, too. That’s why we use different decor each time. And different venues.” His suite always gives back, benefiting Global Green and the Sugar Ray Leonard Foundation during Oscar week.
GIFT LOUNGE BACKSTAGE AT THE 2013 FILM INDEPENDENT SPIRIT AWARDS
Where: Backstage at the Independent Spirit Awards
Posh perks: A combination of “red-carpet ready products” (according to producer Samantha Haft) to use the next night, including Fashion Forms and GKHair products like dry shampoo and “the cool new electronics items, the custom fittings for sunglasses, the hottest new denim, the vacation packages, the clothes and handbags. You still want all of that to kind of balance itself out.” There’s everything from luxury silk bedding by Manito Linens to a year’s supply of Yoplait Greek 100 Yogurt and Mattel’s new movie game “Pass the Popcorn.” Mattel is making a donation to Film Independent on behalf of each star that visits the lounge, too.
THE SECRET ROOM RED CARPET STYLE LOUNGE
Where: SLS Hotel
Posh perks: “We’re the only gift suite to have a travel lounge within our gift lounge. We have about eight destinations — villas, private islands — and we give away trips to nominees and A-list celebrities. So they’re coming by the boatload, now that they know we’re offering this,” says producer Amy Boatwright. “We give them a suitcase filled with travel goods, and they even get custom-made bikinis!” No wonder Meryl Streep has turned up at this one!
SWAROVSKI 2013 ACADEMY AWARDS STYLIST SUITE
When: Today, Saturday, Sunday

THE OFFICIAL PRESENTER KARI FEINSTEIN’S STYLE LOUNGE

STYLELAB JEWELRY PREVIEW
Where: Secret location in Beverly Hills
Posh perks: Stars and stylists find millions of dollars worth of fine jewelry at this lending suite, making it a one-stop shop to find the right bling for Oscar night. Brands include Edward Mirell, Farah Khan, Mark Lash, Takat and the Argyle Diamond Collection.
