Fox Delays 'Glee' Premiere Wake of

Fox to air encore broadcasts of 'Dads,' 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' in place of 'Glee's' original premiere timeslot

Following the death of series star Cory Monteith, Fox has pushed the fall premiere of “Glee” back a week from Sept. 19 to Sept. 26.

The network and 20th Century Fox TV have also jointly decided to delay production on season five till early August.

Monteith, who played Finn Hudson on the Ryan Murphy-created skein, was found dead in his hotel room in Vancouver last weekend. Autopsy results released this week revealed that a mix of alcohol and heroin led to the thesp’s death.
