Anne Rippey rises to Key Brand exec

Marketer will also continue work with Type A, TMD

Key Brand Entertainment, the company that owns Broadway Across America and Rialto-centric website, has tapped Anne Rippey as its new chief marketing officer.

She’ll oversee Key Brand’s overall marketing plan, collaborating in particular with the toppers of the theater division — led by BAA’s Beth Williams and Lauren Reid — as well as the interactive arm topped by Jerome Kane and Matt Kupchin. She’ll also work closely with Key Brand COO Miles Wilkin.

Meanwhile, Rippey, a longtime vet of the legit industry, will continue to oversee the two companies she founded, Type A Marketing and the Marketing Division. At Type A, Elyce Henkin will be upped to prexy with John McCoy boosted to veep, while the Marketing Division will continue to be managed by exec veep Bob Bucci.

Before taking the new post at Key Brand, Rippey was president both of Broadway and road marketer Type A and of the Marketing Division, which handles marketing duties for national touring productions as well as for Broadway Across America’s presenting activities.
