Zurich to Honor Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner

Company's racing drama 'Rush' will open Swiss fest

Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of British production company Working Title Films will receive Zurich Film Festival Career Achievement Award.

Bevan will accept the Golden Eye on behalf of the duo on Oct. 2.

Since its inception in 1992, Working Title’s 100 plus productions have grossed over $6 billion worldwide and earned more than 250 Oscar, Golden Globe and BAFTA nominations. Its latest film, Ron Howard’s racing drama “Rush,” will open the Zurich festival on Sept. 26. Another of its new pics, Richard Curtis’ “About Time,” will be screened on Oct. 2 following the awards ceremony.

ZFF will present a retrospective of Working Title films, including three Coen brothers movies: 1996’s “Fargo,” 1998’s “The Big Lebowski” and 2009’s “A Serious Man.” The other movies include Stephen Frears’ “My Beautiful Laundrette,” Mike Newell’s “Four Weddings and a Funeral,” Roger Michell’s “Notting Hill,” Joe Wright’s “Atonement,” Ron Howard’s “Frost/Nixon” and Asif Kapadia’s “Senna.”
