Zac Efron Comedy ‘That Awkward Moment’ Debuts Red Band Trailer

The new trailer for “That Awkward Moment” has been released, and it shows stars Zac Efron, Michael B. Jordan and Miles Teller in some particularly raunchy R-rated shenanigans.

The film, which was originally titled “Are We Officially Dating?,” star the three men as friends who make a pact to stay single after Jordan’s character gets dumped. However, when Efron and Teller find love interests, (played by Imogen Poots and Mackenzie Davis) they enter the awkward stage of not being able to define their relationships.

The red band trailer is slightly NSFW, given some nudity from Efron and Teller and a sex toy near the end. Efron also has another raunchy comedy coming up: “Neighbors” with Seth Rogen.

Jordan and Teller are both toted as promising up-and-comers, with Jordan named on of Variety’s 10 actors to watch for his role in “Fruitvale Station” and Teller finding critical acclaim for this summer’s “The Spectacular Now,” in which he stars with Shailene Woodley.

The film is set to release Jan. 31, 2014.
