Will Brittain signs with Paradigm

Star of 'A Teacher' to be repped by Ida Ziniti and Ryan Bartlett

“A Teacher” star Will Brittain, who plays the title character’s teenage object of affection, has signed with Paradigm, where he’ll be repped by Ida Ziniti and Ryan Bartlett.

Brittain is a 21 year-old newcomer who is currently studying acting at the University of Texas in Austin, where director Hannah Fidell filmed “A Teacher.” Variety’s review of the film said Brittain “looks like he could have any girl he wants.”

In addition to “A Teacher,” which premiered at Sundance as part of its NEXT lineup, Brittain’s film and TV credits include the short film “Orbit,” the indie pic “Big Boy” and ABC Primetime’s “What Would You Do?” A personal trainer and fitness instructor for Camp Gladiator, Brittain’s stage credits include the one-man show “Pigskin” in New York City and two notable roles in shows performed at the University of Texas — Edward Hyde in “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” and George Gibbs in “Our Town.”

In addition to Brittain, “A Teacher” has also led to major agency representation for his co-star Lindsay Burdge and director Hannah Fidell, each of whom recently signed with ICM Partners.

Upcoming screenings are later today at 5:30 at Prospector Square, Monday at 3:00 p.m. at Broadway Centre Cinema 6 in Salt Lake City, Tuesday at 3:00 p.m. at Temple Theatre, Friday at 11:30 a.m. at the Library and Saturday at Noon at the Sundance Resort.
