Warner Bros. Sets Up Lord Nelson Biopic ‘Love and Glory’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Peter Woodward is penning the script

Warner Bros. has set up the biopicLove and Glory,” about British Naval officer Lord Horatio Nelson.

Peter Woodward is on board to pen the script.

Nelson made a name for himself while fighting Napoleon’s forces on the Mediterranean — and for engaging in a scandalous love affair with Lady Emma Hamilton.

Gianni Nunnari is producing, with newly promoted creative exec Cate Adams overseeing for the studio.

Woodward will use source material from the John Sugden biographies “Nelson: A Dream of Glory” and “Nelson: The Sword of Albion.”

Woodward is known for his work as an actor, but his screenwriting career also includes the script to the indie “Signal Hill.”

Frank Wuliger at Gersh handled the deal for Woodward.
