The pic is a dramedy about a big-city lawyer who returns to his childhood home where his estranged father, the town‘s judge, is suspected of murder. He sets out to discover the truth and along the way reconnects with the family he walked away from years before. D’Onofrio will play Downey’s brother.
Bill Dubuque has written the most recent draft, with Nick Schenk writing the original script.
The UTA and Collective-repped D’Onofrio just completed the off Broadway show “Clive” opposite Ethan Hawke and Zoe Kazan and can be seen next in “Broken Horses” with Thomas Jane.
one of the finest characters and entertaining person i ever saw…can’t wait to see vince again in the upcoming “The upcoming “The Judge”
I agree with the other Dianne. This is great news for Mr. D’Onofrio fans and it sounds more like a main stream movie that the general public would see. I’m not a slasher movie nor a horror movie fan. I really thought I’d never see my favorite actor again outside of LOCI reruns. I’m a happy camper! Now if only ‘The Good Wife’ would bring him on as a recurring character – I’d be a very, very happy camper!
Great news for all Vincent D’Onofrio fans. A most under utilized gem!
