‘Viking’ recruits cast

Norton, Duken join director Faeh's saga

British actor James Norton and Germany’s Ken Duken have joined the cast of Claudio Faeh’s “Northmen — A Viking Saga.”

Norton will shortly be seen in Ron Howard’s “Rush,” Amma Assante’s “Belle” and is currently filming the next Mike Leigh feature.

Duken appeared in “Inglourious Basterds,” “Distanz” and the recent hit German miniseries “Das Adlon,” and also stars in Jon Amiel’s upcoming WWI drama “The Poisoners.”

Pic also features Norwegian actor Tobias Santelmann, who stars in “Kon-Tiki,” Norway’s submission in the foreign-language film Oscar category.

“Northmen” follows Viking marauders shipwrecked off the coast of Scotland.

Zurich-based Ascot Elite Entertainment Group and Jumping Horse Film in Hanover are producing the film, which is being handled internationally by the Salt Co.
