Venice Film Festival: ‘Rigor Mortis’ Sets in Well Go’s American Slate

Rigor-Mortis, AFM sales hit

Well Go USA Entertainment has acquired all North American rights to Hong Kong horror film “Rigor Mortis” in a deal with Fortissimo Films.

The distributor’s move comes shortly before the film’s premiere in Venice Days and ahead of its subsequent screening in Toronto’s Midnight Madness section. Well Go says it is planning a multi-platform release in early 2014.

“Rigor Mortis” is the directorial debut of musician-actor Juno Mak and is billed as the re-imagining of the 1970s Chinese vampire genre.
