Perry has closed his deal to play Tanner Bolt, the attorney who reps Affleck’s Nick after his wife, Amy, disappears. Fincher courted Perry for the role after seeing his perf as the title role in “Alex Cross.”

In more casting news, Neil Patrick Harris is close to signing for the role of Desi Collins, the ex-boyfriend of Pike’s Amy.

Kim Dickens, Patrick Fugit and Carrie Coon are slated to round out the cast. Dickens and Fugit will play the story’s key detectives, while Coon will play Affleck’s character’s twin sister.

Perry is repped by WME and Ziffren; Harris is repped by CAA. Dickens (HBO’s “Treme”), Fugit (“Thanks for Sharing”) and Coon (“Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?”) are all repped by Gersh.
