‘Transformers 4’ Bumblebee Car Unveiled by Michael Bay

Shooting started in Monument Valley this week

Michael Bay has unveiled the muscle car he’s using for the Bumblebee character in “Transformers 4” — a “highly modified, vintage 1967 Camaro SS.”

The director, who has started shooting starting in Monument Valley, revealed the new design for the franchise fixture a day after disclosing designs for the Optimus Prime truck and two of the Autobots — a Bugatti Grand Sport Vitesse and a C7 Corvette Stingray, based on Chevrolet’s upcoming 2014 production car.

“Transformers 4″ stars Mark Wahlberg, Stanley Tucci, Kelsey Grammer, Nicola Peltz, Sophia Myles and Li Bingbing. Paramount has set a June 27, 2014 release date.

    Hmm for some reason the new bumble bee look just isn’t as impressive. Classic cars are great and all but it just kinda looks really unfinished and well not yellow enough.
