Jeff Chan's feature debut currently shooting in Vancouver

Sony Pictures Worldwide Acquisitions has acquired horror-thriller “Grace,” starring Alexia Fast, from Automatik, Oddfellows Entertainment and Colony Pictures.

“Grace” is directed by Jeff Chan from a script he co-wrote with Chris Pare. The project, currently shooting in Vancouver, is Chan’s full-length feature debut following directing live action shorts for Activision’s “Call of Duty” vidgame franchise.

Automatik’s Brian Kavanaugh-Jones and Oddfellows’ Chris Ferguson are producing. The announcement was timed to coincide with Comic-Con in San Diego.

The story is seen through the eyes of an 18-year-old tormented by ungodly forces. Fast starred in “Jack Reacher.”

“Grace” also stars Alan Dale, Lin Shaye, Alexis Knapp, Joel David Moore and Clarke Peters. Colony Pictures’ Chan and IM Global CEO Stuart Ford are exec producing.

Michael Helfand negotiated the deal on behalf of SPWA.

Chan is represented by ICM Partners, Guymon Casady and Dean Schnider at Management 360, and Karl Austen and Ryan LeVine at Jackoway Tyerman Wertheimer Austen Mandelbaum Morris & Klein. Ferguson is represented by Verve.
