Sandra Bullock’s ‘Gravity’ Gets New Trailer

Space adventure opens Oct. 4

“Explorer, this is Houston.” “Go ahead, Houston.” “Mission abort.”

So begins the new “Detached” trailer for Alfonso Cuaron’s “Gravity,” released three days after Warner Bros. presented  footage that dazzled Comic-Con attendees.

The two-minute trailer depicts space debris crashing into a shuttle piloted by astronauts George Clooney and Sandra Bullock.

“Gravity” is the opening film at the Venice Film Festival and launches in theaters on Oct. 4.
