ROME – The Rome Film Festival has rounded out its main jury which will comprise U.S.-based Iranian director Amir Naderi; Italian director Luca Guadagnino; French thesp-turned director Noemie Lvovsky; Russian actor and producer Aleksei Guskov; Chinese director Zhang Yuan; and Argentine director Veronica Chen.

Chen’s live action/manga animation thriller, “Rabbit Woman,” involving Chinese gangsters and mutant rabbits, recently world-preemed in San Sebastian; Guadagnino’s  docu “Bertolucci on Bertolucci” bowed at Venice, where Amir Naderi (“Cut”) had a short unspooling this year; Guskov (“The Concert”) is starring in the latest pic by Italo helmer Gabriele Salvatores, currently being shot and titled “The Invisible Boy”; Lvovsky’s latest directorial effort is hit romantic second-chance comedy “Camille Rewinds,” in which she also stars; the prolific Zhang’s latest work is “Beijing Flickers.” Zhang’s sophomore pic, “Seventeen Years,” which dates back to 1999, was produced by Rome fest topper Marco Mueller.

U.S. cult director, scribe, and producer James Gray (“The Immigrant”) will preside Rome’s main jury, while Larry Clark will head the jury of the fest’s more cutting-edge CinemaXXI section, as previously announced.

The revamped Eternal City event will run November 8-17.
