Red Bull Media House is teaming up with Pure Grass Films and the Salt Company on Frederic Jardin’s heist actioner “Twist.”
Pic tells the story of a young graffiti artist who is lured into a street gang whose members employ parkour techniques to commit a series of audacious art thefts.
“Twist” marks Red Bull Media House’s first fully scripted feature film and boasts a combination of action sequences regularly associated with its parent company’s high-adrenaline extreme sports events, such as BMX racing and BASE jumping.
Sophokles Tasioulis, head of cinema at Red Bull Media House and the film’s producer, said Jardin “is breathtaking with action but also has the gravitas to give real emotional depth to the narrative.”
Jardin, who helmed the 2011 action thriller “Sleepless Night,” is directing Canal Plus’ International Emmy-Award winning action series “Braquo.”
“Twist” is set to begin production later this year.
