$3 million deal was made in the Eccles lobby after preem

Radius-TWC has acquired U.S. rights to “Lovelace,” which stars Amanda Seyfriend as adult film starlet Linda Lovelace and Peter Sarsgaard as her abusive husband Chuck Traynor.

Deal, which was made in the Eccles lobby for $3 million, calls for both a theatrical and VOD release.

Pic was made with the cooperation of Lovelace’s estate and will be released this fall.

Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Friedman directed the ’70s-set tale from a script by Andy Bellin. Heidi Jo Markel of Eclectic Pictures produced with Laura Rister and Jason Weinberg of Untitled Entertainment, as well as Jim Young from Animus Films. Millennium’s Avi Lerner is among the seven exec producers.

“Lovelace” co-stars Sharon Stone, Robert Patrick, Chris Noth, Bobby Cannavale, Hank Azaria, Adam Brody, Debi Mazar, Juno Temple and James Franco, who plays Hugh Hefner.

TWC president and COO David Glasser was among those who negotiated the deal with Lerner.
