Quentin Tarantino Teases Next Film: It’ll Be a Western

Quentin Tarantino Jay Leno

Quentin Tarantino is returning to a familiar genre for his next movie.

During an appearance on “The Tonight Show” on Tuesday, Tarantino revealed he’ll be doing a Western again, but not a sequel to “Django Unchained.”

He told Jay Leno, “I haven’t told anyone this publicly, but I will say the genre: It’s a western. I had so much fun doing ‘Django,’ and I love westerns so much that after I taught myself how to make one, it’s like ‘OK! Let me make another one now that I know what I’m doing.'”

Tarantino won the Best Screenplay Oscar for “Django Unchained.”

I can’t wait to see it , I’m sure it will be amazing ! It will be a second child to django because usually you would have child and then the second would be a breeze. Good luck to this film ! It will be a lot of fun. I have no fact on it yet, but know if you bid enough for his Tibet cause you could see the set . And baccon straw looked like fun though I don’t eat meat my own little “Save The Baccon”. I love Quentin Tarantino , he was born my true and best love! He’s so creative.

  3. According to IMDB Kill Bill Vol 3 was on the cards to do next year but QT is allowed to change his mind of course

    • Taking Tarantino’s cryptic stylings and applying them I might be led to believe this IS him hinting at Kill Bill Vol. 3, after all I am pretty certain that move could be classified as a ‘spaghetti western’ if I am not mistaken. Sure it has the obvious kung-fu and eastern culture elements but there are many western elements embedded in that movie as well. Just my two cents.

  4. The Kingslayer says:

I loved Django, honestly IMO it was Tarantino’s best work in years.

  5. Martin says:

Can’t wait. But, it will be nearly impossible to top Django Unchained.

  6. Big Daddy says:

LOVE QT. Can’t wait till his next flick. Django was awesome.
