Pilbrow Joins Kris Thykier's PeaPie

Company's slate includes Stephen Daldry's 'Trash'

LONDON — Natasha Pilbrow has joined Kris Thykier‘s PeaPie Films as head of business affairs and legal.

Pilbrow was previously at entertainment law firm Lee and Thompson LLP, where she engaged in all law-related aspects of film development, production, finance and distribution, with a specialization in development and talent negotiation.

She was a participant last year on Inside Pictures, an intensive film business and leadership skills program.

PeaPie is in pre-production on Stephen Daldry’s “Trash,” written by Richard Curtis for Working Title Films. It also is gearing up on Ruairi Robinson‘s “The Fallen,” written by Andrew Will and Geoff Bussetil, which is being produced with Lionsgate U.K.

Also on the company’s roster is “Ali and Nino,” which has been adapted for the big screen from Kurban Said’s Azeri novel by Christopher Hampton. Asif Kapadia is directing.

Pilbrow said: “They have a really impressive and diverse slate of projects and this is a great opportunity for me to get involved across the entire breadth of the filmmaking process.”
