Not for Brits only

BAFTA/LA's tea party took place at the Four Seasons on Saturday

Basking in the pre-Golden Globes glow, many of the nominees mingled at BAFTA/LA’s tea party at the Four Seasons on Saturday. For those who’ve been through the awards season before, “Downton Abbey’s” Michelle Dockery advised, “Just enjoy it.”

“This is the eighth time I’m nominated and never won,” said Kathleen Kennedy. “So any superstitions or quirks that I’ve followed have not been working. I’m now open to anything.”

“Last time was very different,” recalled Christoph Waltz, “because it was all new to me and very overwhelming. Now it’s only overwhelming.”

And Harvey Weinstein kept it simple, saying, “Everything’s good. I’m in a good mood.”
