Morgan Freeman Receive CinemaCon Award

Kudo to be presented on April 18

Morgan Freeman has been tapped to receive the Cinema Icon award from CinemaCon.

The kudo will be presented April 18 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas during the conference’s awards ceremonies.

Freeman will be seen in “Oblivion,” opening April 19, followed by “Now You See Me,” “Last Vegas” and “The Last Knights.” He’s also voicing a part in “Lego: The Piece of Resistance.”

CinemaCon noted Freeman won the Oscar for “Million Dollar Baby” and received the 39th AFI Lifetime Achievement Award and the Kennedy Center Honor.
