Production designer succeeds Thomas Walsh as president

Production designer Mimi Gramatky has been elected president of the 2,000-member Art Directors Guild for a three-year term, succeeding Thomas A. Walsh.

The guild, which operates as Local 800 of the Intl. Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees, also tapped art director Jim Wallis as VP, production designer Cate Bangs as treasurer and art director Judy Cosgrove as secretary.

Scott Roth is continuing as the guild’s exec director.

The guild reps production designers, art directors, assistant art directors; scenic, title and graphic artists; illustrators and matte artists; and set designers and model makers.
